Plasma (EDTA, lithium heparin, sodium heparin)
Specimen Stability:Serum/plasma should remain at room temperature for no longer than 8 hours. Store at 2-8°C for up to 7 days, or up to 4 weeks at -20°C. Samples should not be used if they have more than 5 freeze-thaw cycles.
Storage/Transport Conditions:Specimens should be stored and transported at 2-8°C. Sufficient frozen cold packs in an insulated cooler can be used to maintain this temperature.
