Shelter Closure

The Big Bear Animal Shelter is closed due to the Line Fire. We are safely relocating all pets to the Devore and Apple Valley Animal Shelters temporarily. Pets staying at Apple Valley Animal Shelter will be available for adoption. If you reside in the Big Bear Animal Shelter’s service area and require evacuation support for your pets or livestock, the Devore Animal Shelter staff is prepared to offer temporary shelter and care.
