Community Outreach & Education

Community Outreach and Education is comprised of Healthy Communities, Community Vital Signs (CVS), and Local Oral Health Programs.

• Healthy Communities works in partnership with cities, towns, and community partners, to improve and advance the health of all residents within San Bernardino County. Healthy Communities works to increase the skills and commitment of community leaders and stakeholders to develop and promote lasting strategies that help people make healthy choices where they live, learn, work, and play.

• The Community Vital Signs Initiative is charged with implementing the Wellness element of the Countywide Vision to improve the health of San Bernardino County in a strategic manner.
