A: The Ryan White Program provides funding for HIV/AIDS related medical care and support services to those who have no other way to pay for services.

Q: What is the Inland Empire HIV Planning Council (IEHPC)?
A: The IEHPC is a planning body made up of consumers, health care professionals, and providers that plans and oversees how these funds are spent.

Q: What is a Grievance?
A: A grievance is a complaint you may have about HIV/AIDS related medical care and support services. The “Grievance Process” is a formal process with which you can file a complaint and have it addressed. For information of how to file a grievance, please refer to the Grievance Process page.
Q: When should a grievance be filed?
A: You may file a grievance if you believe you have been treated unfairly in one of the following ways:
- Denial of Services
- Sub-Standard Services
- Other reasons as set forth by the provider agency; approved by the Ryan White Program Office
Q: For which services can I file a Grievance?
A: Grievances can only be filed with Ryan White Service Providers for Ryan White funded services that are provided within the TGA.
Q: Where can I get a Grievance Form?
A: Grievance forms may be obtained from your Ryan White Service Provider (to give them a chance to resolve your concern) Office of the Inland Empire HIV Planning Council (IEHPC).

Q: What is the Ryan White Program?

Q: I am not currently funded by the Ryan White Program. How can I get info on how to apply for funding?
A: When funding becomes available, funded services are procured. A Request for Proposal (RFP) is usually conducted every three years. During the RFP process, notices are placed in local newspapers, the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors website (when being approved), and are posted on San Bernardino County’s Purchasing website. All interested parties are welcomed to submit proposals during the RFP process. You can obtain notices on this (and other funding) by registering as a vendor for San Bernardino County.

Q: What is ARIES?
A: ARIES is an internet browser-based client information management system that fulfills administration and reporting needs for HIV/AIDS care. It facilitates the delivery of effective, efficient, appropriate, timely, and desired care and treatment services to people with AIDS and those infected with HIV.
