Reflex Testing Criteria:Repeatedly reactive specimen will be confirmed by a licensed neutralization procedure utilizing human anti-HBs (HBsAg Confirmatory Assay 3.0)

Accepted Specimens:Serum
Specimen Stability:Store at 2-8°C for up to 7 days, or up to 4 weeks at -20°C. Samples should not be used if they have more than 5 freeze-thaw cycles.
Storage/Transport Conditions:Specimens should be stored and transported at 2-8°C. Sufficient frozen cold packs in an insulated cooler can be used to maintain this temperature.
Specimens may be shipped at 2-25°C for up to 7 days. For shipments that are in transit for more than 7 days, specimens should be kept frozen (-20°C or lower).
