Montclair Abilities Resource Fair

On October 16, 2019 California Children’s Services (CCS) hosted their Annual Abilities Resource Fair at their Montclair Medical Therapy Unit located at Moreno Elementary School. The Abilities Resource Fair was a great success, bringing in almost 100 guests.

This event not only had a lot of fun and appealing things for the children and families we service such as balloons, popcorn, and snow cones but other community partners such as the Montclair Police Department and the Montclair Fire Department were also present interacting with the families and sponsoring small giveaways. The variety of vendors and public health employees working together made this event not only memorable for all but also provided valuable resources that cater to CCS clients, but also to children and families in the community, with or without special needs.

The success of the Abilities Resource Fair was felt by both staff and families. Parents expressed their gratitude to the CCS employees for hosting an event with their children in mind. CCS looks forward to organizing more events like this for their clients in the future.
